Art inspired by Eric Carle

Our art this term is focussing on collage. We looked at how Eric Carle created his collage for 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' by first painting on tissue paper. This produced colouful papers that he could then use to cut out the shapes he needed. This week we had a go at this technique ourselves to create paper for a Great Fire of London collage. I think these papers have turned out great!
