School Meals and Milk.
School Meals and Milk
We are with Barnsley MBC School Meals and lunch is cooked daily on site using fresh ingredients delivered by local companies. Children may choose on a daily basis what they would like for lunch. Parents can also choose from home in advance. Daily there is a choice of a hot traditional dinner, vegetarian meal or jacket/pasta followed by a dessert. Alternatively, children may choose to bring a packed lunch from home. Please do not send chocolate or sweets in a packed lunch. This is school policy and is part of the school's "Healthy School" status.
There is a three week menu which is available to view if you click the "School Menu" button at the bottom of this page and it is also displayed on the main external notceboard. We operate a cashless dinner system through the School Gateway system (Schoolcomms). www.schoolgateway.com . Dinners are £2.50 per day. It is essential that all dinner money is paid for in advance through the School Gateway system as dinners cannot be ordered without the approriate credit (Schoolcomms). www.schoolgateway.com

If your child is 5 or over and not entitled to free school meals, and you would like them to have milk, then please go to FP School Milk Ltd. to place your order. Milk for the under 5's is free until the beginning of the term in which the child turns 5. Further information is available by clicking on the ' School Milk UK' button below.
Milk prices are subsidised by the European Union under the European school milk scheme and are set and reviewed by the Rural Payments Agency.
