Autumn Walk

Today we went on an Autumn walk around our school grounds. We talked about the different things we noticed. Children made excellent observations such as: 

"Lots of leaves have fallen".

"Some leaves are now yellow, brown and red". 

"Some leaves feel crunchy". 

"Some leaves are wet because of the rain".

We also spotted conkers on our walk. The children enjoyed collecting and talking about them! 

We also watched a video about changes during Autumn. We noticed that it starts to get dark earlier at night, the weather changes  it gets colder and we need to wear a coat.
