Butterfly Symmetry Art

Hi Year 2,

On our walk today we spotted a beautiful butterfly with lovely symmetrical patterns. When we got home we cut out some paper butterflies, painted one half and then folded it to make a symmetrical pattern. It was lots of fun and really easy to do. Why not give it a go. Just be quick before your paint dries as it will not print as well.
