Butterfly update

Over the Easter Holidays our caterpillars finally turned into beautiful butterflies. We had four in total, one hatched on the first Monday, the second on the first Tuesday  and then the last two on Good Friday. We managed to film one of them hatchng and have shared it together - it was fascinating to watch! The upper part of their wings were amultitude of bright colours whilst the underside was a muted brown.

They enjoyed eating oranges, bananas and sugar water. 

We released them over the second week of the holidays - keep an eye out you might spot them flying around!
