Drawing Club

In FS2 we are having a Drawing Club each morning. This is an opporunity for children to use their mark making skills as well as phonics knowledge to draw a picture and write a label. For instance, before half term we spent a few days drawing pictures linked to our focus story of 'The Gingerbread Man'. This week we have been keen to draw pictures linked to one of our previous focus books 'The Colour Monster'. I have been so impressed with the quality of the children's drawings and how they are applying their acquired phonics knowledge to attempt to write words!
