EYFS Stay and Play

We had so much fun at our Stay and Play in EYFS yesterday. We prepared for Cinderella going to the Ball - linked to our core text Cinderella. We made crowns, masks, sewed beads on to a dress, wrote invitations, followed a recipe to bake biscuits,  designed a ball gown and even got to learn some steps from the Waltz. Wow, it was a day full of fun and lots of learning opportunities. Children developed their concentration, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, reading and writing skills and maths skills through these activiites.
