In year two we have been challenged to make a healthy wrap for school lunches. We started this project by looking at healthy foods and the 'eatwell' plate. Our wrap had to have a carbohydrate (the wrap), a vegetable, a protein and a dairy product so we began by tasting combinations of these to see which was out favourite. This week we made our own wrap using our designs. We learnt how to use a knife safely with the claw grip or the 'bridge'. We then prepared all the food for our wrap by ourselves...and finally we got to eat it!
