Fruit tasting in FS

This week we have been very busy tasting different fruits based on our story of Handa’s Surprise. We have tried Papaya, Pineapple, Tangerines, Passionfruit, Kiwi, Pomegranate, Grapefruit, Mango, Watermelon, Grapes and Avocado! Some we liked and others we did not – the grapefruit was quite an acquired taste – we found it was very sour! We all enjoyed mango.

We were able to use lots of different vocabulary based around taste - sweet, sour, juicy, crunchy and smooth.
