Learning is fun....

Date: 4th Oct 2022 @ 9:52am

FS2 have continuted to make excellent progress over the past few weeks. I am so impressed with how independent they are becoming. Their vocabulary is continuing to grow through our 'words of the week'. So far we have talked about the meaning of 'fear', 'calm' and 'love' linked to our key text 'The Colour Monster'. The children have confidently shared ways that can make them feel calm e.g. breathing in and out. Lots of us have shared that we love our families and friends. I also have learnt that one member of our class loves to go fishing. Also, the children have been keen to draw representations of different emotions linked to the book. They have used blue to represent "sad", "red" for angry and "green" for calm as well as "yellow" for happy.

Our EYFS staff continue to interact with your children while they are playing and exploring our indoor and outdoor environment. It is wonderful to hear your children share their own ideas and experiences and use if confidently in their own play. I am so proud of all our FS2 children!
