Mining Silhouettes

The children in year 3 completed their artwork this afternoon. Yesterday they created a sunset wash with watercolours and then we added the silhouette today with black paint. They all thought really carefully about what they wanted to draw on a mining theme - the pit head wheels were a popular choice. I can't wait to get them up on display!
