Phonics.... phonics....phonics

This is our second week of Phonics teaching. I am so pleased with the progress the children are making! It's been lovely to see children returning their weekly phonics homework and hearing about their reading at home too. 

Remember if your child reads 4 or more times per week and it is recorded in their planner, they will get a raffle ticket. The raffle ticket goes into our prize draw which is done on a Monday! 

Phonics is so important for supporting your child's early reading and writing skills.
