Queens Jubilee

This week we have been busy preparing for the Queen's Jubilee. The children have been very excited to learn about Queen Elizabeth the 2nd and our capital city London. On Monday we took a ride on a pretend London bus and toured the city to learn about different landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the London Eye. Children have been inspired by this focus; they have made crowns, drawn portaits of our Queen, created models of London landmarks and even made a bus of our own using construction outdoors!
