The Chinese New Year of the Rat

We have been learning more about Chinese New Year, as it lasts for 15 days! We have found out why the year is named after the rat and have been making chinese new year decorations, lucky money envelopes,  and trying to write in chinese calligraphy! We have made chinese monsters in the playdough and looked at traditional chinese clothes and decorations.
