Van Gogh's Sunflowers

As part of our focus on gardens and growing, we have looked at the painting of Van Gogh's Sunflowers. We will be planting our own sunflowers this half term. The children have enjoyed looking at the painting and it has inspired lots of creative work - drawings with wax crayons of different flowers, using loose parts to create individual art work. We have also had children creating patterns independently and creating 'beanstalks' using construction linked to our core story 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. Great work FS2!
