Visit from Farmer Sam

Yesterday the children in year3 were visited by Farmer Sam who came in to tell us all about his farming family and what they grow, lining with out geography work. He told us the types of things they grew and how it was used. The children were very surprised to learn that sugar can come from something grown in the ground. 

We were also able to make our own butter after learning about rearing cows, which the children very much enjoyed.
