Weddings...

Both FS1 and FS2 have been focussing on the story of 'Cinderella'. We read the story, talked about events and explored the different characters last week. This week we are planning a wedding for Cinderella and Prince Charming. Mrs Roach was very kind and brought in some items from her own wedding. She brought in her beautiful dress, and her lovely flower bouquets. We talked about how people get dressed up for weddings as it is a very special occasion. Lots of children were keen to dress up as bridesmaids, the bride or guests. Even the staff dressed up! We have had such fun today and are excited for the rest of our week. Our learning will continue with writing invitations, making decorations and then having an actual wedding cermony at the end of the week for Cinderella and Prince Charming.
