We're Going on a Bear Hunt

This week we have started our new focus on the story "We're Going on a Bear Hunt'. The children have been keen to share the story, learning new vocabulary such as 'gloomy' and 'deep' linked to the text. The children have been keen to draw and paint bears, and also lots of children have written captions for their own drawings. In Maths we have continued to develop our understanding of sharing as well as practising our counting using 1:1 correspondence. The children are enjoying eating their dinner in the big hall with the KS1 children and are becoming more confident in doing lots of things independently now. We are very proud of them. Another great week in FS2!
