World Book Day

FS1 all look wonderful in their outfits.  Thank you everyone at home.

My goodness how the weeks are flying by. This week we have been very busy again. We have been creating some lovely card crafts that we will be bringing home this weekend.

We have been very busy in phonics singing different nursery rhymes and spotting syllables and starting sounds in words.

In maths we have been practicing our number formation and subitizing skills (recognising amounts without counting).

Then we had the most fantastic World Book Day where we enjoyed dressing up and spotting all the different characters! We enjoyed doing a character scavenger hunt and finding different characters in the books we were reading and we showed off our knowledge of our books in a book quiz!

In PE we loved being superheroes and working with the Parachute!
