Y3 Should Children Work Down The Mine?

The children got very passionate about our debate today which posed the question 'Should children work down the mine?' We discussed the issue as a class and then formed our opinions before starting our debate. The children did really well and thought of all different aspects of mining life, using their historical knowledge well.
