Y6 - Martin Riley Visit

As you are aware, our school is taking part in a project called the Heart of the Woods. This has involved some classes drawing illustrations, making models and a school choir.

Last year in Year 5, the children were visited by Martin Riley on a number of occasions and supported with their creative writing. These pieces were used by Martin to inspire him to write a new version of the Heart of the Woods. Today, Martin came in with a copy of the book for each child. He very kindly signed each book too!

Details about the Heart of the Woods production due to take place in December at the Dearne Playhouse will be going out shortly.
