Year 4 Yorkshire Water Visitors

Year 4 had a fantastic morning working with representatives from Yorkshire Water. We revisited the water cycle and looked at the part that Yorkshire Water play within the cycle. We also looked at how 'Wateraid' helps those less fortunate in Ethiopia. The class was then split into two groups to carry out two different activities. In the first activity the children worked as a group to build a strucutre to represent a toilet building in Ethiopia and in the second activity they looked at how bacteria spreads from hands using an ultra violet light and UV handcream.
