Year 6 Writing Experience Day

As part of our Literacy and history work, we have been learning about evacuation in WW2. 

Today, the children had to pack an imaginary suitcase for evacuation but they could only take a limited amount. We had lots of discussions about what was really essential and why and how we had to "make do and mend" like in war time.
